Tickets last for two consecutive days, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore Cathedral Square or the Arts Centre, Art Gallery and Canterbury Museum, picnic in the Botanic Gardens or in Victoria Square, where you can watch the Edwardian Punts floating down the Avon River. Visit the Tram Station at Cathedral Junction in New Regent Street, a restored Art Deco pedestrian mall. Stop in for souvenirs and take a stroll around the shops and cafes.
The carefully selected tram drivers provide a live, comprehensive commentary throughout the journey identifying points of interest, historic architecture, various activities and places to shop and eat, turning the tram ride into an informative and entertaining experience.

The Christchurch Tramway 2.5 km track takes approximately 25 minutes to complete and encompasses many of the city’s ‘must see sights’ including Cathedral Square, The Arts Centre, Botanical Gardens, The Christchurch Art Gallery, Canterbury Museum, New Regent Street, The River Avon, and Victoria Square to name a few.
